MEMORIES OF MY MOTHER

Screenings and installation details

Memories of my Mother (10mins) was commissioned by The National Museum of Ireland in 2015. In this film eight women from 7 different countries remember their mothers. The women were participants in the Migrant Women Project and Exhibition which ran at the Museum of Country Life, Sligo from August 2015 to March 2016. This exhibition documented the lives of both Irish women, who emigrated from Ireland and the stories of new migrant women who had recently come to live and work in Ireland.
